I am selling my stuff on craigslist. A guy offered to buy it and this is what he wrought to me Would you trust this or is this just a scam? What should I do? "Hello, Thanks very much for getting back to me ,I will like to tell you that the payment would be sent by UPS courier company and the item will be picked up as soon as you receive my payment,I will wait for the payment to receive cashed before i'd send my shipper for the pick up.I will like to tell you that i would be sending a check worth of $3497 covering the shipment of the item. and the money for the item should be $250 As soon as certified check reaches you,have it cashed and remove your money for the item and send the remaining fund to my shipper by western union money transfer.My shipper is also picking some of my other items up for me in the same city of yours, so that is why i need to give him that amount.I will like you to remove $100 for your running around in getting the check cashed...pls let me know if i can trust you on this.. I am selling an item on craigslist and I got one answer from a person who seems interested but I can't tell if they actually are or if they just want to steal my identity. They first asked if the item was still available, next e-mail they asked me for my contact information and said they would send me the payment then he would have a moving company arrive for the item. I asked to talk to him in person and this is what I got back: "I perfectly understand what you are telling me but i act as a middleman to lots of my client to help them receive the items they need and i receive my possess commission,i have like 200 transactions per day and you dont expect me to call each and every one so if you are intrested in still selling to me,please mail me back with the complete information i requested from you butthe payment would be sent by UPS courier company and the item will be picked up as soon as you receive my payment,I will wait for the payment to receive cashed before i'd send my mover for the pick up.I will like to tell you that i would be sending a check worth of $2900 to cover the moving of the item and the money for the item.As soon as the check reaches you,have it cashed and remove $550 for the item and send the remaining fund to my mover via western union money transfer.My mover is also picking some of my other items up for me in the same city of yours so that is why i need to give him that amount.I will like you to remove $100 for your running around in getting the check cashed.Please let me know if i can trust you on this so that we can move forward from here. She says she has a "forwarding courier service that will pick up the guitar" and it will be done "after I have cashed the check." What is a forwarding courier service? Is it okay that I accept a certified cashier's check? Then she asked for my full name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number. Is it safe that I give every this information out? Resolved Question: Fiancee got scared of moving ... suddenly split ... will she come back?

Beautiful 3 year relationship ... She is in different city (3 hr steer) ... every of her family/friends in her town. She is young (22). She is a hot head / often has mood swings. Engaged on NYE. We had been discussing marriage ... she wanted to do it, whereas I was like "let's just live together for a few months and look how it goes" ... But no we push forward with engagement plans. A month ago she calls me hysterically saying how scared she is (of moving). For three years it has been bliss ... she has been first and last person I have spoken with every day. Constant adore and effection. It has been wonderful. Two weeks ago she wants to break the news of our engagement to my parents (I had wanted to wait a bit and surprise them once she moved here). So we tell them two weeks ago and everyone is excited and glad. She sends me a text soon after saying she is excited and she has "found the dress for our wedding!!!". So every looks good, right? Soon after she conferences me in with her family and talks about planning a trip for just me to spend time with them. TWO DAYS LATER, out of seemingly nowhere she calls me. Says she can't do this ... can't go forward with marriage, is not going to move here ... and also says she can't be in the relationship anymore either. She feels she is too young (old issue) and basically not ready ... the move seems the key issue. A bit shocked, I ask her why not look at other options. For example, just cancel engagement and slow things down. arrive to me for a weekend and let me show you around, etc. look how it goes. Build toward more. But no, her mind is firmly made up apparently. A few days later she comes to my home and gives back ring and some other stuff, including her phone (we were on a family plan i was paying for). In person she is extremely distant and icy. She reads from a script about what she is doing and basically just says she "can't do this" ... doesn't really say why. Gives me the old "it's not you, it's me" line. We didn't spend much time together. No touching, no nothing. Was like talking with a stranger. So she goes. Soon after she calls me at work to look if I am okay (I had explained I had a work problem and was nervous about it). Then she calls me again later that day to say thank you for everything I have done for her and "have a nice life". WTF? She says stuff like 'maybe in a year we'll receive back together' ... and firmly asks me not to contact her or anyone in her family. Emotionally drained I just said fine. My take is that the issue is simply she is anxious about moving and quickly getting married (there is a visa issue here, getting married quick like that was planned to accelerate her acclimation and give her more opportunities to do things like work and steer etc). I think the every AT ONCE, move and receive married was too much pressure and she just cracked. It's a shame, because we had such a wonderful relationship for 3 years up until that moment. Her family is in shock as well and there has been tremendous in-fighting with her over this (they have taken my side and are fustrated with her doing this the way she did it). So it's been a week since she was here. In that time, I managed to receive her a brief note that said I accepted her decision and would respect her need for space and time. I reiterated that I cared about her and that I wanted to talk but that she probably needed to focus on herself for the time being. The only feedback I got was thru a pal of hers (my courier who handed her the note), who said she was "disappointed" at the attempt to communicate given I said I wouldn't. Yesterday, while putting her phone up for sale on Ebay and looking thru it for files to delete ... I found pictures .... of her wearing the wedding dress she had texted me only 2 weeks prior. I had a bit of an emotional breakdown at seeing that. So, I broke my promise and I emailed her yesterday (I don't have any other way to communciate as she gave me back the phone). I basically asked her to think about options. To think before walking away from 3 years. So far, no response at every. I am giving her until Sunday before I tell my parents who will be shocked and probably have very negative feelings about her over this. I am hoping she calls them (she said she would) before that. Sorry for the long post ... basically I am just wondering if it's really over ... if someone can change on a dime like that after 3 years together ... when I did everything right here ... is she going to arrive back to me? If so, after how much time? I don't know what to do, other than try to move on ... but it's extremely difficult. Please help with your thoughts/advice. Thanks. Resolved Question: what do you think of the stupid new designs of housing estates in the uk and approved by city council?

Hi, I am really amazed by a modern country like U.K. to accept housing estate plans like these. Because non of them make any sense eg. the door numbers are every mixed up so no one understands where they start and finish. In some places the door numbers 1,2,3,4,5 etc. and then other places they run 1,3,5,7, etc. odds one side of the road and evens on the other. If that wasn't bad enough, houses have been tucked away so you don't imagine that's the number you're looking for simply because of its placement. What's wrong with have every road road names having indicators for the door numbers. The streets and roads are very narrow nowhere to steer safely because of cars parked. Why in U.S.A. do they have big garages and big off road parking in long, wide straight roads, with logical door numbers? Why do we always have to be 20 years behind america in everything or never catch up at every? This is not just my opinion, but the opinion of most delivery drivers from hot quick food to courier drivers and what about ambulances? Our architects must be donkeys with nothing more on their minds than how to squeeze every last penny out of the smallest piece of land, what does that say about our council planning offices? Money grabbing capitalists!

I then deposited the amount on the next working day. I thought once I deposited the security deposit, I'll receive the sample and tea packets in courier. Two days later I again called up the same person and he told me to deposit 5000 rupees for the customs charges. So I've deposited the 5000 rupees also. It's been 50 days, I neither receive the tea packets not my money back. When ever I call that guy to ask for my refund, he'll tell they are working on that. Having major issues with these Cowboys. Basically they say they say they try to deliver goods when they actually don't. I've waited in countless times for them and they never show up only to be told they tried to Deliver! Bunch of no good Liars! Keen to find out also if anyone has contact details for someone there who actually cares about the business - have tried but everyone i talk to there is like a Zombie Computer programme. Stay well away from them!! Check this loser out below. What a complete cock! City Link are currently below investigation by Amazon for fraudulent behaviour. Their couriers have been caught out not delivering goods. And its employees like this sh@t for brains that keep the bad ethics going.

This is my story about the guy I have been in adore with for almost three years its long and confusing but Im searching for answers and wish you every can help me. So it starts of in November 2007 we meet through work he was our courier for the company I worked at. Anyway one day my pal mentioned to me that our stock girl thought he was attractive and i had also thought this. A week or so goes bye and at this point I was excited to even look him let alone when he came to deliver our stock and actually spoke to me. I had told my visual coordinator that I really liked him and waned to ask him out but had clue how to do it she told me to maybe receive him a christmas gift and look what happened so I did the day i was going to give him the gift i was very nervous so my pal did it for me and told him that i really liked him and wanted to maybe go out someday soon.. I found out that he liked hockey so we ended up going to a hockey game a week or so later this was my first ever date with a guy we had a lot of fun and things seemed to be going somewhere. The next day at work when he saw me he told me he had a great night and he asked me out for lunch that upcoming weekend I of course accepted this and we went out.. While we were waiting for our table to be ready he had to go receive a Christmas gift for someone so we were walking through the mall and then he told me that he had a GIRLFRIEND of almost two years , i was absolutely crushed. So after Christmas holidays were over and we saw each other again he mentioned to me that he got a new job a was going to be leaving the city. So January 4th comes and this was supposed to be his last day of work but he never showed up for work. I was in the back that afternoon when a coworker came to the back and said someone was here for me I go out and it was him and he said he didn't want to leave without saying goodbye and he wanted to go for lunch again so we went out and then he walked me back to my store and we said our goodbyes and that was that. We both exchanged phone numbers to keep in contact with each other as friends. So a week or so goes bye and i hear nothing from him and the only reason i expected to was because he said he was going to call me when he arrived at his new place about five hours away or so. I think it was 10 days until i heard something from him and i asked him how his job was going and he said well my job feel through so i decided to stay here for awhile and clear my head. I think it was maybe three weeks until i heard from him again but this time he said he was back in the city but was extremely sick and we would meet up when he was better for the next 7 days he text me every day and called me three times and we talked for like 2 hours every time. Then it came finally to the day we were going to meet up and i worked that morning and he was going to pick me up at work so he comes into my store and comes up behind me and hands me a red rose and said i missed you and you look great. This is when things start going down hill he constantly made little promises like sick cal you tomorrow but didn't or will meet up next week but never did.. I went on trip with my pal at the beginning of March and finally heard something from him again and we talked for like 3 hours after that day i didn't hear a word from him in like 4 months and one day he just called me. Then it was another 3 months and then he text me right around when hockey season was starting and he asked if i wanted to meet up with him and keep in mind i had not seen him in like 7 months and really barely spoke to him at every so we meet up had dinner played some pool and generally had a great night and then he brought up that it was coming up on his 3 year anniversary with his girlfriend and that being just friends with me was extremely difficult because the temptations are so big. So for the next month or so we talk on and off about work and stuff and his vacation coming up. It was the end of November and something upset him because i didnt hear from him ever again. Until one day i was at a 7 eleven getting something and i walked out got in my car and he walked in. The weird thing about this being he had lived on the complete opposite side of the city last time i heard and i never expected to look him. So i text him and said " wow i cant believe i just saw you" and he replies " what have you been up to how are you type thing. and asks me out for the following night. That evening was a little different because i didn't feel like i was as attracted to him anymore but still felt feelings for him and he was always so nice and completing me and opening doors for me and paying for stuff but still had a girlfriend. ( This was like 5 months ago. ) i saw him another two times at the convenience store and we talked a lot more then we ever had about hockey and it felt like we were friends more then anything but i knew ever since the day i meet him I was in adore with him but buried my feelings becau

Couriers will run hot press releases to every corner of the city, headlines with blaze with investigations and intrigue, and every coffee store from here to Saint Helier will be filled with early goers chatting about crime and punishment, and making timeless comments on how insane the world has become. By the time the evening news tunes in, they will be honoring every the heroes that stepped in when the city needed them most, from the dispatchers coordinating emergency calls, to the police scouring the city for suspects, to those brave firefighters fearlessly climbing burning buildings in search of survivors. It will be a night filled with rewards, promotions, and commendations. I had a interview on tuesday at Cyclone Couriers to become a push bike courier in London city. I am desperate to work but don't want to work somewhere shitty despite whether it pays well for instance, "sainsburys" I worked night shifts there and it was shit, quit in an instant. places like hmv and other "bait places to work" never seem to be hiring. Resolved Question: City Link not been with parcel, but delivery attempted..?

I have just bought a camera in excess of £200+. I paid 8.99 for the express delivery, so that I would receive 'Guarenteed delivery by 1PM, on April 17 (saturday). (with citylink) I have had no parcel delivered today. However, on my order tracking it says delivery was attempted and a card was left. There was no delivery as I was home, and further more there is definetely no card been left in my home. I have no idea whats going on here now and slightly worried whos home my camera is going to go too, as ive checked with my immediate neighbours and had no luck. I can't ring them as phones arent open on weekends (only upto lunch on sat), and supposedly the parcel will be re-delivered on monday. Im just not sure who's home its going to go too on monday, so not sure what to do. Never using citylink again. Never had any problems like this with outher couriers. Resolved Question: Is this a craigslist scam?

Hello, I am selling an item on craigslist it's an outboard motor and I have received multiple e-mails asking if the item was still available for sale and they every show up as sent somewhere between 2 and 4 in the morning according to Yahoo mail. I posted the ad at 8:50 PM on June 9th so so almost 2 days ago and the e-mails were like I said dated June 10th between 2 and 4 in the morning and they asked is the item still available or something to that affect and so I just replied yes it is not noticing the time received. Anyways they are every from gmail address different ones and one of them though says googlemail not gmail and so I am wondering are these most likely scams I am pretty sure they are but just checking. Also I have gotten like 5 or 6 emails saying you'd probably be interested in this and then it gives a digg.com/something address so I can pretty much say those are a fake/scam. Anyways I did receive another answer back to one of my yes it is still available e-mails but it came at 2:36 am on the 11th and it says he's is ok with the condition the item is in and the price as well as the positive gesture in me making sure he knows what's wrong with the motor . He also said he would not be able to view the item first nor pick it up due to some lost in my family (whatever that means) and that he's the oldest as well. He says he want's to send a Certified check via UPS or FedEx courier service. I immediately went to check craigslist to look if they said anything about sending checks and it doesn't say anything about certified checks just this Western Union, Money Gram, cashier's check, money order, shipping, escrow service, or a "guarantee". He also says that he hopes that I would take his offer and if so that he needs my info like name, address, city,state,zip, and cell phone number(don't know why this would be needed) to have the check sent/made out and once I receive it and once the check has cleared he will have his shipper arrive for the pickup at our location. So to me this just sounds like it could be a scam but there are also things which make it seem like it might actually be real but I just want to make sure about this. I mean is anything/anyone on craigslist who wants to pay be some sort of check going to be considered a scam. Anyways just let me know if you guys think this is a scam or not. Thanks,

Resolved Question: what does my dream of the banking officers mean?

We have been looking for a mortgage, though ironically though I would adore to buy a home I'm not 100% that I want to live here. I have been worrying that I should move back where my daughter lives which is in a different country. Anyways, my dream is where I am holding some papers, I don't know who they are from but I have to give them to the Bank of Montreal. So I have to go through a mall and then into a tall office building like in the city (I live in the country tiny town) and they are closed, so I go to a different tiny office of BMO that does different stuff. I walk in and there is a man behind a pony wall that has a sliding glass window. He is the manager of the office and there are others working around him. He basically ignores me until I say, excuse me, would you mind if I leave these papers until your other office opens. He very angrily says, no we're not a courier service. I said I don't know what to do with this, can I please just leave this here, and he started yelling at me. As I was looking at his name tag I asked for his card. I said you know I'm a customer of BMO and he said, well then you SHOULD receive ANOTHER BANK. I thought wow, I have to tell my home branch this, then thought, I wonder if they would care. Then I went to the other office which was now open, and went to the toilet and was kneeling on the ground sorting through the papers to know which ones to give them. The mean man had shown up in this other office and heard me russling the papers and said, 'Is she here now?' sounding every pissed off. I said yes, and that's it the wierd dream!

Resolved Question: Shared accomodation for an EXTREMELY introverted non-violent schizophrenic?

Hi I have schizophrenia and am severely introverted. I find it difficult to maintain close friendships and also to socialize correctly. I have moved into the city of Melbourne, have found a job as a courier for a tiny company and am wanting to find shared accomodation. The only problem is I cannot interact with people and am wanting to know if there is a specialized form of independent housing available that is safe. I am more than willing to provide rent and bills and am harmless to live with. Does anyone know what avenue I could go down to find appropriate shared accomodation?
